Understanding How Licensing Works on Pikosm
Pikosm provides two types of design resources: third party free assets and Pikosm Originals. Each type has its own usage rules.
1. Third Party Free Assets
These resources include mockups, fonts, templates, textures, overlays, gradients and other design materials that are originally created and published by independent designers or platforms outside of Pikosm.
How third party assets work on Pikosm:
- We showcase a visual preview to help you evaluate the asset
- We provide a direct link that redirects you to the official creator or source website
- You download the asset directly from the original owner, not from Pikosm
- The asset remains fully governed by the original creator’s license terms
Because licensing terms vary from creator to creator, it is your responsibility to carefully review the license information provided on the original source website before using the asset in any personal, commercial or client project.
Pikosm does not host, modify or sell third party assets, and does not claim any ownership over them. Our role is limited to curating, organizing and sharing references to useful resources so designers can discover quality assets more efficiently.
2. Pikosm Originals
In the future, Pikosm will introduce a dedicated category called Pikosm Originals. This section will feature exclusive creative assets produced in house by the Pikosm team, including mockups, templates and other design resources.
Licensing for Pikosm Originals:
- You may use these assets for both personal and commercial projects
- You may use them in client work, branding, presentations and portfolio projects
- You may not resell, redistribute or upload these assets on other websites or marketplaces
- You may not claim these assets as your own original creation
Pikosm Originals are created to provide designers with high quality, exclusive resources while maintaining clear and fair usage boundaries.
